How We Teach

A simple, effective approach that builds skills and confidence.

We use Canadian curriculum worksheets to reinforce key concepts across Math, Science, and English. In class, students complete guided practice with support from an OCT-certified teacher. For homework, we assign 1–2 sheets per week based on pace and level. We track progress and adjust pack difficulty to keep momentum.

  • Guided class practice with clear examples
  • 1–2 short, printable homework sheets
  • Progress tracking and targeted review
  • Downloadable PDFs; device-friendly viewing

Frequently Asked Questions

We support learners in Grades 1–8 across Math, English, and Science. Packs are sequenced by grade and strand, and students are placed by a short diagnostic so work is appropriately challenging. Small groups allow the teacher to adjust pacing and give targeted feedback each week.

Yes. Every pack is mapped to Ontario & Canadian curriculum expectations and covers the required strands (e.g., Number, Algebra, Geometry/Measurement, Data). Material is written and reviewed by an OCT‑certified teacher and updated during the year so examples, vocabulary, and problem types match current expectations.

Homework is usually 1–2 short sheets per week (about 10–20 minutes each). The goal is to reinforce class learning, not overwhelm. We sometimes add an optional “challenge” question; during assessment or project weeks, homework may be reduced or skipped.

Absolutely. We use tiered practice—Foundations, Core, and Stretch—so we can move a student up or down in difficulty without changing the topic. The teacher swaps packs, adjusts the number of questions, and adds mini‑lessons where needed. If work is ever too easy or too hard, we change it for the next session.

Yes. Common requests include Math (Fractions, Decimals & Percents, Long Division, Geometry/Measurement, Word Problems), English (Reading Comprehension, Writing & Grammar, Vocabulary), and Science skills. Tell us the topic and grade; we’ll prepare a focused set of pages.

Students receive printed sheets in class and a PDF copy by email when requested. If a class is missed, we send a make‑up pack digitally. All files are easy to print at home, and we’re happy to resend or provide extra copies.

We adjust pacing right away. Fast finishers get Stretch problems, puzzles, or short projects to deepen understanding. Students who need support receive scaffolded questions, worked examples, and extra small‑group help. Parents get quick updates so everyone knows the plan.

Most Math packs include answer keys and worked solutions; English and Science sets often include sample responses or rubrics. We encourage students to attempt independently first, then use solutions for checking and discussion at home.

Yes. PDFs are designed for easy printing on Letter/A4 with printer‑safe margins and readable fonts. They also display well on phones and tablets, with clear spacing, grayscale‑friendly diagrams, and clickable links where applicable.

Just send us the topic(s) and the test date. We’ll create a mini‑pack that includes quick review notes, targeted practice, and a short check to build confidence. If timing allows, we can also schedule a brief review during class.
